Curriculum

The training path from range anatomy to a personal breakout rule sheet — mapped for the Breakout & Consolidation Intensive and related lessons.

How the path is organised

The intensive follows six stages. Clinics and private reviews borrow pieces of the same sequence when a trader needs depth on one stage only.

  1. Range anatomy Identify swing highs and lows that actually contain price. Distinguish a living consolidation from a drifting trend pause. Homework: mark three ranges on your own daily charts without entry arrows.
  2. Compression & volume Watch how range height shrinks and how volume behaves as the consolidation ages. Note dry-ups that often precede a decisive break — and those that do not.
  3. Breakout filters Write criteria beyond “close outside the box”: close location, follow-through bars, and which timeframes must agree before you treat the move as a candidate.
  4. False breaks & traps Study wicks that pierce a boundary then reverse. Practice waiting for reclamation instead of reversing instantly. Journal language for “failed break, still in range.”
  5. Measured moves & retests Sketch simple measured objectives from range height. Plan for retests of the broken boundary — when to expect them and when absence of a retest is information.
  6. Rule sheet & review habit Compress everything into a one-page personal checklist. Pair it with a weekly review of consolidations you watched but did not trade.
