Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you enquire about or attend chart training.

Data controller

Data we collect

  • Identity and contact details you submit (name, email, phone if provided)
  • Enquiry content (lesson interest, experience notes, message text)
  • Enrolment and payment administration records
  • Limited technical data such as cookie identifiers (see our cookies page)

We do not ask for national ID numbers, full payment card details through this website, or brokerage account credentials.

Purposes

We use data to respond to enquiries, schedule lessons, deliver training, process refunds where applicable, improve our teaching materials in aggregate form, and meet legal accounting obligations in Taiwan.

Depending on the context, we rely on steps prior to a contract, performance of a training contract, legitimate interests in operating a small teaching studio, and consent where required for optional analytics cookies.

Retention

Enquiry messages that do not lead to enrolment are typically kept up to 18 months. Enrolment and invoice records are retained for the period required by Taiwan tax and accounting rules. Cookie lifetimes are listed on the cookies page.

Sharing

We use service providers who help us host email or accounting functions. They process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information if required by Taiwanese law or a lawful authority.

International transfers

If a provider stores data outside Taiwan, we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate safeguards consistent with applicable requirements for cross-border transfers.

Your rights

Subject to Taiwan personal data protection law, you may request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of processing, and you may object to certain uses. To exercise rights, email hello@autowebops.digital. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent Taiwanese authority.

Children

Our training is aimed at adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children for enrolment.
